I'm Chelsea and I'm the owner, baker, and cookie artist behind Costa Cookie Co. I found my love of cookie art purely by accident after purchasing an at-home beginner cookie decorating class to try with friends. It was just supposed to be a fun few hours for us to goof off, giggle, and drink wine but instead, I was immediately captured. There was something so magical about taking such simple ingredients and creating something beautiful (though I'll be the first to admit that my first few cookies were anything but nice to look at).
When I decided to start selling cookies and needed a name, I drew inspiration from my two favorite places - my hometown, College Station (CoSta) and where I was married in Mexico, Cabo San Lucas (in Spanish, "costa" means "coast"). And that's how Costa Cookie Co. was born!
